Dieppe will always be remembered.
Many French Canadian soldiers lost their lives. Those who survived never forgot.
The families of the fallen always remembered August 19, 1942.
Yes, we have a Canadian memorial here which flies the Canadian flag and there are French and Canadian flags flown with the British flag on the coastal fort. We have a ceremony every year on the anniversary and poppies are laid.
If you are able to send me pictures, I can write you a message to give you my personal email so you can send them.
Hi Pierre, thanks for the message, I will go and take some photographs for you today.
Salut Pierre
J’ai quelques photos sur la journée du 19 août, une belle cérémonie comme toujours.
A bientôt
Philippe
Tu peux m’en envoyer quelques-unes.
J’ai encore les centaines des années précédentes tu m’avais envoyées.

Je viens d’aller voir. Merci.
I live in Newhaven where the raid left from and it is remembered here too. There is a bond of sadness between Newhaven and Dieppe.
